Christian International Church (CIC) has existed since 1995.
Our main ministry has always been the English-speaking community in and around
Daejeon. All of our worship services and activities are conducted completely
in English for English-speakers. We do not offer English classes, and we do
not teach English in any of our courses or activities.
On any given Sunday, CIC will be attended by people from all
over the world.
While a large portion of our congregation is from the United
States and Canada as well as here in South Korea, it is very common to have
people present from South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, England,
India, and many other countries. Many of our congregation are teachers here
in Daejeon, but there are also many people present who work in the business
world. These people also come from an incredible variety of different backgrounds
and Christian denominations. Wherever you come from, you should be able to feel
comfortable and at home at CIC.
Our worship services generally last for about an hour and a half. People who
attend are free to dress as formally or as casually as makes them comfortable.
Our music style is contemporary, with a sprinkling of traditional hymns. We
are not particularly restrictive in worship, nor are we charismatic. See the
"beliefs" section for more about the doctrine
of CIC. You may also want to view one of our worship services on-line to get
a feel for what it is like to be at CIC.
